Joe comes from a family of musicians and songwriters and as a result always had musical instruments lying around the house growing up. He recalls sitting with a guitar as a kid and putting his fingers on random frets and making these horrible chord clusters - running to his dad and saying 'what's this chord?' and he'd take Joe to the piano and work it out with him. Joe plays guitar, bass and piano but loves messing around with any instrument he can, as he believes not having experience can lead to some interesting and unique ways of playing.
Joe's favourite genre has always been jazz. He loves to hear or see people who are truly masters of anything at all really. But in music, Jazz is the best genre to showcase true musicianship and just show off a bit.
