Hailing from the North West town of Warrington, indie-pop The Ambersons stole their name from
the 1942 movie ‘The Magnificent Ambersons’.
Bonding over a worn-out DVD of Martin Scorsese music documentary ‘The Last Waltz’
and bootleg recordings of ‘The Band’, their sound merges psychedelia and subtle electronica,
fuzz guitars and synths with melodic hooks to create a dose of perfectly captured pop moments,
swimming in the vapours of yesterdays greatest love songs.
